Meridian - Can't 'Release Quick Change' - Document Locked

Meridian Document Management System > Desktop Client > Instructions/Training Materials/Helpful Hints
Within Meridian, if the 'under quick change' icon is grayed out, red or shaded, you will need to unlock the file from the workspace in order to release the quick change..
  1. Grayed out or shaded icon, select the files
  2. Click on the ‘Document’ menu
  3. Click on ‘Unlock from Workspace’
  4. Now the files are not grayed out/shaded and can be ‘released’.
If this solution does not work or you do not have the option to Unlock the document, please contact FIS.  A system administrator may have to unlock the file.
