Default viewing of PDF files with Foxit

With the rollout of Foxit, some users are experiencing issues with viewing PDF files.  After Adobe was removed from your computer, your default PDF viewer may have become Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and not Foxit.  To change your default PDF viewer, please follow these steps one time.

  1. Find a PDF file on your computer (either in a network drive or on your desktop)
  2. Right-Click on it and select 'Properties'.
  3. Click on 'Change' in the Opens With section.
  4. Select Foxit PhantomPDF 8.3
  5. Make sure the box for 'always using the selected program to open this kind of file' is checked.
  6. Click 'OK'
  7. Click 'Apply'
  8. Click 'OK'
