Meridian Upgrade – NEW INFORMATION for staff
that use Construction Standards and Operational Drawings to create Project Specs and Drawings.

Starting on Monday, March 5th 2018, Meridian will be upgraded to the 2017 version.  The Construction Standards and Operational Drawings have been revamped.  Users will have to pay attention to a new concept called ‘Main – WIP’.

As a USER of the information you need to know the following:
  • Files marked ‘Main’ should be used to create project specifications and drawings, just like the old ‘Main Area’.
  • Files marked ‘WIP’ (Work-In-Progress) are files that could be under modifications and should not be used for project related information.  This is similar to the old ‘Work Areas’ concept
  • Both versions (Main and WIP) will be visible in the Main Area of Meridian and users will need to pay close attention to which file they are using.
  • There is a new training manual in Meridian.  Please look it over when you are going to be using the Standards, Standard Details and/or Operational Drawings to create project related documents and drawings.

Note: The Editors, Admins, and Construction Standard Stewards will be trained on using WIP.
