Default viewing of PDF files with Adobe Acrobat

To change your default PDF viewer to Adobe, please follow these steps one time.

  1. Find a PDF file on your computer (either in a network drive or on your desktop)
  2. Right-Click on it and select 'Properties'.
  3. Click on 'Change' in the Opens With section.
  4. Select Adobe Acrobat.  Make sure the box for 'always using the selected program to open this kind of file' is checked.
  5. Click 'OK'
  6. Click 'Apply'
  7. Click 'OK'
