If you’re trying to use Remote Desktop with more than one monitor and it keeps instantly disconnecting, you may be able to fix it by making the following tweaks to group policy (on the machine you’re trying to remote into) Go to:
Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Remote Session Environment
Change the following:
Use hardware graphics adapters for all Remote Desktop Services sessions – Disabled
Limit number of monitors – Enabled – (Set to one more monitor than you intend to use)
Use WDDM graphics display driver for Remote Desktop Connections - Disabled
