Meridian Xref Integration Does Not Display or Load in AutoCAD

Workflow: Restore Meridian Xref Integration in AutoCAD

Follow the steps below to restore Meridian Xref integration if it is not appearing in AutoCAD.

Step 1: Verify Meridian Integration Is Running

  • Check the system tray (near the clock) for Meridian icons.
  • If the icons are present, the integration is running—proceed to Step 4 if issues persist.

Step 2: Manually Start Meridian Integration

If the icons are not visible, manually launch the integration:
  • 64-bit systems:
    C:\Program Files\BC-Meridian\Program\AMHookTray.exe

  • 32-bit systems:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\BC-Meridian\Program\AMHookTrayU.exe

  • After launching, confirm the Meridian icons appear in the system tray.

Step 3: Reboot if Necessary

  • If the icons still do not appear after manually starting the integration:
    • Restart the computer
    • Recheck the system tray after login

Step 4: Verify AutoCAD Compatibility

  • Confirm that your installed version of AutoCAD is supported by your current version of Meridian.
  • Running an unsupported version of AutoCAD may prevent the Xref integration from loading properly.

Step 5: Relaunch AutoCAD

  • Close and reopen AutoCAD after completing the steps above.
  • Confirm that the Meridian Xref integration is now available.

Expected Result

  • Meridian icons appear in the system tray
  • Meridian Xref integration is accessible within AutoCAD
